Pressed Flower Art for a Meaningful, Timeless Home
About five years ago, I felt lost in motherhood. With three little ones (our oldest was eight), I put everyone’s needs before my own and ended up exhausted and burned out.
Then my husband asked, “What do you enjoy that’s just for you?” I had no answer—and I broke down. That question cracked something open. I began peeling back the layers of who I thought I had to be and slowly found myself again.
A spark reignited when he handed me Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. I started creating—wandering through different mediums—until I discovered pressed flower art, and something clicked. I ordered a press, began saving flowers from our garden, and knew instantly: this was it.
You know when something just feels right? That was this. It felt like big magic.✨
Why I chose pressed flowers (and why collectors love them)
Growing, pressing, and arranging flowers connects me deeply to nature—and to myself. It’s a slow, intentional process that pulls me into the present. It grounds me. It heals me. It brings joy to my soul.
That same feeling is what my clients want at home: meaningful, timeless, not mass-produced art—handmade pieces that carry story, inspiration, and a touch of the wild.
Pressed-flower art for mindful, soulful homes
If you’re craving décor that feels personal and peaceful, pressed botanicals bring nature’s rhythm indoors—subtle texture, gentle color, and a reminder to slow down.
For newlyweds: Transform a bouquet into heirloom art (plan ahead for best results).
For memory-keepers: Honor a loved one or preserve flowers from a childhood garden.
For nature lovers: Create a focal piece that softens a room and reduces “visual noise.”

FAQ
Is this mass-produced?
No. Each artwork is handmade from real flowers I collect and press myself—no mass production—so every piece is one-of-a-kind.
Do you preserve wedding bouquets?
Yes, for local clients (KC / Lawrence) via drop-off/pickup. I don’t accept shipped bouquets at this time.
Can you create a custom piece with meaningful flowers (garden, memorial, childhood)?
Absolutely. We’ll design a bespoke composition around the flowers and story that matter to you. These can be shipped.
How do you keep colors from turning brown?
Professional pressing techniques, moisture control, and archival materials—finished with UV-blocking acrylic.
What sizes do you offer for commissions?
8×10 (intimate minimalist), 11×14 (balanced), and 16×20 (impactful collage). Download the Commissions Brochure to get access to my pricing and process guide.
