Absolutely gorgeous flowers and such high-quality printing that everyone who sees it looks to see if it’s actually the pressed flowers or a print.
My Process
The Flowers - Every piece begins with collecting and pressing flowers using traditional methods in wood flower presses. I grow a lot of of the flowers I use, but I also have a wonderful group of gardeners who invite me over anytime to come collect flowers from their blooming garden.
The Artwork - Once pressed, I spread out my flowers and spend time playing with a design before gluing them into their final arrangement.
The Print - The final piece is photographed using a medium format camera to best capture the color and rich detail of the artwork by my husband, Sean. We choose the highest quality materials we can find for our prints, and we believe it shows. We get incredible feedback on our prints, and always have folks who can't believe the reproductions aren't real pressed flowers.
