My Journey to Pressing Flowers

My Journey to Pressing Flowers

About four years ago, I found myself lost in motherhood. We had three young kids, and our oldest was only eight. I believed my role was to make sure they were always happy, which meant their needs always came before mine. I was exhausted and completely burnt out.

Then my husband asked me, “What do you enjoy doing that’s just for you?”

I had no answer—and I broke down. That question cracked something open. I began peeling back the layers of who I thought I had to be, and slowly rediscovered myself again.

A spark reignited when he handed me Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, and I started creating again.

I wandered through different creative paths until I came across pressed flower art—and something clicked.❤️

I immediately ordered a press and started pressing flowers from my garden. From that moment on, I just knew: this was it.

You know when something just feels right? That was this. It was big magic.✨

Growing, pressing, and arranging flowers connects me deeply to nature—and to myself. It’s a slow, intentional process that brings me into the present moment.

It grounds me. It heals me. It brings joy to my soul. 🌼

Now, I create pressed flower art to inspire that same sense of joy and peace in others. I hope my work brings beauty and balance into your space, and reminds you of the quiet magic in simply being.

And above all, I want to show my children what’s possible when you follow what lights up your soul ✨
